Soon enough you will find that the group you are with is called AVALANCHE and it is a Eco-terrorists group The group has a mission to blowup a Mako reactor that is pulling the life out of mother earth for energy.
The further you grow in the game the larger your enemies get and you get to do more good. If you stay with it you will get to fight the big boss who is the antagonist in the game.
As you grow in this game you will meet a lot of friends but the enemies you come into contact with will out number the friends. The way you play the game is normal You attack the enemies attach and on and on.
You will need to try this game yourself to get the most out of your game experience and it is just plain fun to play.
